Jeanne Wang shared insights on IP and trade secret litigation trends at the LESCT 2024 Annual Meeting
Tsar & Tsai Law Firm participated as a sponsor of the Licensing Executives Society Chinese Taipei (LESCT) 2024 Annual Meeting on December 6, 2024. At this prestigious event, our Partner, Jeanne Wang, joined as a panelist in a featured discussion on the topic: “Recent Trends Relating to the Amendment to the Intellectual Property Case Adjudication Act and Trade Secret Litigation.”
Jeanne brought her extensive expertise in intellectual property and trade secrets law to the panel, engaging with Hao-Ting Feng (Judge of the Taiwan Intellectual Property and Commercial Court), Fortune F.Y. Shieh (Associate General Counsel of TSMC), and others to explore the amendment of the Intellectual Property Case Adjudication Act and issues related to trade secret litigation.
In this event, Dr. Matthias Zigann (Judge of the EU Unified Patent Court, UPC) shared the latest insights into UPC practices and engaged with distinguished in-house counsels and law firm attorneys to discuss how the UPC impacts global patent litigation strategies and disputes involving standard-essential patents (SEPs). A highlight of the event was the mock trial, where attendees experienced a hands-on demonstration of U.S. courtroom advocacy. This meeting brought together experts from industry, academia, and the legal profession, and we were honored to serve as a sponsor of this important event in the promotion of international knowledge exchange.
