Tsar & Tsai team, led by our equity partner Janice Lin with support from Ellen Peng and Sheila Hu, advised ABC Impact on its USD 50 million (approximately NTD 1.6 billion) investment into Tekoma Energy, an energy transition platform with a portfolio of solar PV projects (including dual-use aqua solar projects) in Taiwan and Japan.

ABC Impact, a member of Temasek Trust Asset Management, is one of Asia’s largest impact investors, with over USD 850 million assets under management. Following the investment, ABC Impact will join as a co-investor with HSBC Asset Management’s Energy Transition Infrastructure Team into Tekoma Energy. This strategic investment will enable Tekoma Energy to scale the development and operation of its solar PV projects across Asia, including those in Taiwan.
